eBooks
The Gunn Memorial Library and its patrons now have access to Bibliomation's shared electronic book collections. eBooks are electronic versions of printed books, with the same information, photos or illustrations, and can be viewed online from any computer connected to the Internet. You can preview eBooks for quick reference, or check-out eBooks and read them at your leisure. eBooks are available at your convenience, and you don't have to worry about returning them. netLibrary allows you to read electronic books directly online.
Create Your Account
To access eBooks, go to netLibrary and click on "Create Account." Type in a username, a password, and then, where it says "Confirm," retype your password. And again, after the Security Question, where it says "Answer," retype your password. Fill in all other fields (red ones are required), then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit."Once you've set up your account, just use the netLibrary browser-based reader. When you're finished, remember to click on "Log out." [Note: Sorry, but as of 02/01/02, netLibrary no longer enables you to download books to your computer.]
