Middle School Book Club

February 26 @ 2:45 pm - 3:15 pm

Free

Attention middle school book lovers! Come and be part of our middle school book club after school at the Gunn Library! Join Ms. Ashley for a seven-week book club where you will read and discuss City Spies, by James Pont.

“Sara Martinez is a hacker. She recently broke into the New York City foster care system to expose her foster parents as cheats and lawbreakers. However, instead of being hailed as a hero, Sara finds herself facing years in a juvenile detention facility and banned from using computers for the same stretch of time. Enter Mother, a British spy who not only gets Sara released from jail but also offers her a chance to make a home for herself within a secret MI6 agency.”

Each week we will discuss the assigned chapters, and practice challenging trivia questions.  Snacks are on us!

A copy of the book will be available at the circulation desk upon registration. Please pick up your book before the first meeting and begin reading the assigned weekly chapters. Registration is required

Parent/Guardian acknowledges receipt and understanding of the Unattended Children Policy. By registering their Child for the Program, Parent/Guardian confirms that they have read and agree to comply with the policy. The Unattended Children Policy is available Click here

Snack will be provided by the library. If your child has food allergies please let us us know! Please contact Ashley Doerwald at adoerwald@gunnlibrary.org
