Museum Passes

Are you looking for something fun to do? The library has free and discounted passes to the following local museums and nature centers. Passes may be checked out for one week. Call us to check the availability of these passes.

Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport
$5 discounted admission for up to 6 people. Temporarily suspended. 

Connecticut’s Old State House in Hartford
Free general admission for up to 4 visitors

CT State Forest & Park Day Pass
Waives admission fees for building and museum entrance at: Dinosaur State Park, Gillette Castle State Park, Fort Trumbull State Park, and Visitor Center in New London.

Earthplace The Nature Discovery Center in Westport
Free passes for a family of four to Natureplace and the live animal hall and native plant courtyard.

Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington
Free admission for a family of four.

Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk
$2 Discount on Combination Ticket (Aquarium & IMAX) for up to 6 people. 4 passes available. Temporarily suspended.

Mystic Aquarium in Mystic
Reduced admission; up to $5 discount. For price information, see the Junior Library staff. 2 passes available. Temporarily suspended. 

New Britain Museum of American Art, New Britain
Free general admission for 4 people. (Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford
The ARTpass offers free general admission for up to two adults and two children (ages 6-17).

The White Memorial Foundation and Conservation Center
Free admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children (6-12 years old).
