We present many programs related to the history of Washington to both public and private schools in town. Recent programs have included a Powerpoint presentation about the history of Washington, going to school in a one room schoolhouse, hands-on artifact identification activities, map reading, farming, the Civil War, and more. Please contact the Museum Curator one month in advance to schedule a program for your class: email@example.com
We strive to make the museum’s collection accessible to all and encourage its use in the classroom. Our collection numbers over 15,000 items ranging from objects to photographs to primary source documents like letters and diaries, which illustrate what life was like in Washington. You can search our collection by keyword online at this link.
