AWE Computers 

AWE Learning is dedicated to providing literacy-focused digital learning solutions for early education in public libraries across the U.S. and Canada.

The computers in our Jr. Library are pre-loaded with fun, interactive games, quizzes, and puzzles focused on teaching early learners literacy skills that support school readiness. The programs on the tablets and computers span a range of subjects that include math, science & nature, social studies & geography, reading, art & music, writing & computer skills, and reference.

Suitcase Adventures

Travel the world through a suitcase! Each suitcase is available for check out and contains both fiction and non-fiction books, currency, clothing, music, instruments, authentic souvenirs, maps, postcards, menus, and more. Current countries include: Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Russia, and Switzerland.

 

Nature Day Packs

Explore the wonders of nature with three themed backpacks filled with items to get your little ones outside. These day packs are filled with guidebooks, binoculars, maps and magnifying glasses. Check out the Bird, Plant, or Amphibian day packs today!

 


Beginner Readers!

Kindergarten and First Grade

The Junior Library is excited to be working with Region 12’s reading consultant, Susan Ubaldi, to bring easy reading level books for kindergarten & first grade readers. WPS is lending 289 beginner reading books to the Junior Library. These books will be available all summer for kids to check out.
