Now Boarding for Summer Fun!

Around the World Adventure: June 22-August 3

It’s almost time for you to begin your summer reading adventure!

We have teamed up with Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury and Burnham Library in Bridgewater to offer the Tri-Town Summer Reading Challenge again this year! This challenge encourages children to spend quality time reading books either alone, with an adult, or alongside a family member, friend, or pet.

Starting June 22, sign up at the library to get your passport and start tracking your reading to earn rewards, tickets  to win a prize at the end of the summer!

Chart Your Course: Challenge Guidelines

Read anything … magazines or eBooks, read to others, listen to an audiobook! It ALL counts! Return to your library and show your Passport to a member of the staff to receive a prize and a ticket for a chance at one of the grand prizes.

  • Under 5:
    Color 1 airplane for every book you read together. Receive 1 prize for each level completed AND 1 ticket towards grand prize drawings.
  • Grades K-5:
    Color 1 suitcase for every 10 minutes of reading. Receive 1 prize for each level completed AND 1 ticket towards grand prize drawings.
  • Grades 6-12:
    For every book you read (approx. 250 pages), record the title and bring the log back to receive 1 ticket toward teen grand prize drawing.
