Tables with activity choices for children & caregivers to enjoy together.

Pumpkin Painting

October 21 – drop in between 10-2    

Children can paint and decorate their own plump, holiday pumpkin using stickers, paint, yarn, glitter and more.  All supplies provided.  Dress for mess!

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN

 

 

Annual Halloween Costume Party and Parade

October 28 – 1:00      Join the fun at this festive party with crafts and games.  Dress in a Halloween costume for a trick or treat parade through the Library.  Please register to attend so we can be prepared with the treats for all.

 

 Marble Run- 

November 4th @ 1pm

Engineer your own Marble Run Game to take home using
tubes and cardboard — or play with a selection of ours. Change the path and watch the marble
spin in a different direction. Learn about energy, gravity and motion!

 

S.T.E.M. Experiment Lab

November 11 drop in between 10-2

Different science experiments will be set up throughout the Junior Library. Children can interact with simple
electric circuits, safe household chemicals, water, basic engineering and more. Examine samples from nature using a magnifying lens. Science is fun, as well as

educational!

 

Fun with Magnets

November 18 at 1pm

Children will be fascinated by hands-on magnetism
activities and experiments. Youngsters can also make a “Buggle” magnet to take home. What is
a Buggle magnet? Stop by and see!

 

Thanksgiving Weekend Special Program –


November 25 at 1pm

Debbie O’Carroll’s Magic Theatre Show!

Magician Debbie O’Carroll,
will present stage magic with lively theatre and lots of audience participation to entertain you
and your Thanksgiving company. Debbie will perform “The Small World” which features world
geography as well as the many ways people from different lands live and share our planet. Her
astonishing magic and energetic hijinks will appeal to all ages. Start the holiday season off with
some Thanksgiving weekend magic!
